We are a nontheistic religion in that we do not worship a deity as part of our participation in Scienceship.

About Us

Scienceship was founded by scientist Nick Afanasiev during the month of September of the year A.D.2,025 (A.D. 2025) and is currently in its early stages of development, but is expected to grow into better versions of itself over time.
We are a science-based community and nontheistic religion. Our missions are to remain science-based and to help as many beings as possible live healthy lives while thriving and flourishing.

Our Guiding Principles

Flourishing does not occur by chance. It depends on the cumulative decisions we make as individuals, our decisions-guided daily behaviors, and the structures we build as a society. Scienceship grounds its Guiding Principles strictly in the results of published scientific research studies from fields-of-study that include biology (including neuroscience); psychology; social sciences; and other relevant science-based fields.

Threats to Thriving

Most lives do not break from a single catastrophe; they tend to drift off course due to predictable, and fixable problems. This page names those threats that should ideally be fixed before they become problems (or more major problems than they currently are, if any of them exist for you). Since thriving is your goal, start by empowering yourself with knowledge about the threats catalogued in this page— and then work to remove, mitigate, and protect yourself against these predictable degraders of your optimal life.

Become a Scienceship Member!

There is currently no enrollment fee to become a Scienceship Member! The only expectations we have of those who are interested in joining us as members of our community and accepting our religion of Scienceship as one of your own is to (1) familiarize yourself with all of the information contained in this website, (2) give your best effort in adopting and maintaining our value systems, (3) attempt our short quiz located in this website, and (4) fill out this form.
